#SOL17 Day 18
However long the night, the dawn will break. ~African Proverb
Dawn is breaking.
The sun’s rays
gently awakening
the tree tops,
spreading slowly –
from top to bottom
until the entire tree
is bathed in yellow
ready to say,
“Good Morning.”
Your poem and image are so striking that I am wondering where you live. On Long Island our trees look like they been dipped in white chocolate.

I live in Pennsylvania just west of Philadelphia. The picture is not mine, but the closest I could fine.
Love the white chocolate image.
