I’ve hit a wall, and it’s getting late.
Have nothing to write, but my streak is at stake.
Been thinking about it most of the day
It’s hard to believe I have nothing to say.
I think it’s time to close my eyes,
That idea seems oh-so-wise.
Perhaps I’ll dream through the night,
and wake with something new to write.
“Have nothing to write, but my streak is at stake.” – I think this perfectly describes my thought process every day. Every day I mostly felt like I had nothing to write about, but I couldn’t give up because I didn’t want to miss a day of writing. Thank you for sharing this slice!

I wish I could write a poem like this when I have writer’s block! The tone is cheerful-despairing, exhausted-hopeful, deadened-creative.
I second Diane. So relatable!

I am impressed that your writer’s block produced a rhyming poem. 🙂

Been there, too. You still got a great post. Writing about having noting to write about is still writing.

Even when you have “Writers Block” you come up with something to write! I love it! This is awesome!
