Barometric Effect
Weather changes
ethmoidal sinuses
Pulsating pressure
Facial pain
Brain blood vessels dilate
maxillary sinuses:
Throbbing headache
Eye tearing
Nasal congestion
frontal sinuses
Allergy exacerbation
Postnasal drip
sphenoidal sinuses
Sinus pressure is no joke! Even my eyes feel heavy, and I want to sleep. I borrowed lines from various articles on barometric pressure and sinuses to craft my poem.
This weather has certainly played havoc on many things! I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Fantastic found poem for something that creates such misery for you. I can feel the pain from here of those suffering sinuses.

Oh, Rita, your poem emphasizes the pain and “pulsating pressure” that you feel in all those sinuses. The bolded lines show how much many of us don’t know about sinuses. But you feel each one, your poem makes that clear.

The struggle has been real these past two weeks. I’m still…..still…..after shots and meds….trying to recover from this infection.

I meant to say before I accidentally hit reply too soon – – your word associations here in the poem make it pop! Yes, and your title too – – very catchy! (no pun intended)

I felt this…literally!!!! As someone who suffers from constant colds in the winter and from allergies in the spring, I could feel my face pulsing as I read your poem. Very effective! Sending my best wishes to you and your sinuses π

What a creative way to craft! I found a great visual with labels of Paranasal Sinuses to help me with the bolded technical terms. No wonder infections in this area are so debilitating.
